That mafia link was interesting. Our workplace (non government) is up for an EBA this year.

That is pretty scary (from my limited understanding), the tl;dr is you guys are on ya own and its all for the good of the country (whatever that is now).

My dumbarse workmates ensure we only have ≈55% union membership.
They say nothing will change! And don't join the union.
The reason why nothing changes is we walk into our negotiations with <55% membership and management has a lil lol and says here is the EBA (that we feel comfortable accepting).
