Shaman afk options while soloing

Most classes can't safely afk. Races and classes with hide can safely hide-afk in areas where there are no see-invis mobs, as you go up in levels hide becomes more or less useless however as more and more areas have see-invis mobs.

Logging is always an option, however, you do not regen mana/hp then and can't contest a camp. For shamans and other pet classes it can be annoying to lose pet doing this too.

As a shaman you can find locations to afk-level all the way to 60.
