The problem with this “idea” is that the illusion of a fresh start is shattered whenever you see a dime-a-dozen twink that someone poured 150k plat into who is soloing a camp your guild group wants to do. At that point, you feel dumb for gimping yourself while everyone else is basically roflstomping. I guess you can sort of get around this temporarily by going to places nobody else visits like runnyeye or whatever, but sooner or later you have to return to town… and voila, more Velious geared megatwinks. Again, illusion shattered. That was why I couldn’t get into ALS. It’s just not the same. Not even remotely.
