Lag after midi ends?

Yeah, that's the post I made previously. While adding the .mp3 files back to the game and getting rid of the combat midis fixed the lag, it doesn't resolve the lag I receive from all of the other midis that play in this game. If I walk through town and midis start and end in rapid succession I'm hit with several large lag spikes every time they end.
