![]() I never played everquest back in the day. From memory I installed it at the LAN cafe I worked at, couldn't work the camera when I logged in and it was first person then uninstalled and went back to UO.
Yes, I've made a lot of stupid mistakes in my life. Last year I installed P99 and since around October I've been plodding along on P99 green. I've managed to hit 48 on my Cleric but my heart has always been set on an enchanter. I've been told you can play both green and blue at the same time and given I'm just grinding 6:40 dad camps on my cleric I'm thinking of rolling an enchanter on blue. The obvious downside is not being able to funnel gear/plat to my new character on blue. I'm wondering if the economy is still enough that I'll be able to sell basics like bone chips / belts for the initial plat and then slowly grind out some plat for gear eventually. Any opinions/input much appreciated. Jangbb

That is no longer true though, because Green has had far more activity than Blue since its inception. Simple example: the price of a Fungi tunic used to be wildly different between the two servers, but now there's maybe a 4k difference between the Blue price and the Green price. In other words, yes Blue will be a little different from what you're used to ... but probably not as much as you imagine.

![]() I'm a returning player after a 4 year break, my brother and I keep coming back to play when we get the EQ itch.
I'm a blue player and had previously spent a good chunk of time in east commons buying and selling items to save up some plat for wanted equipment. 3-4 years there was a good amount of auction activity. Logging on now, the tunnel/auction activity is really dead, like a fraction of what it was before. And that makes sense as blue population is down a lot from when I last played. Its a bummer for me as I enjoyed that part of the game but can't see doing that now. I would stay on green if the buy/sell portion of the game is something you want.

![]() Discord would be the reason why EC is pretty dead. Why stay logged into the tunnel endlessly trying to stay up to date on the chat screen, when you can post and search in discord at your leisure then just log in your mule?
Very unclassic sadly. Just goes to show how even small quality of life additions completely change certain aspects of the game.

![]() That's a good point. I think the number of sellers is way down also. There's a group of always present sellers, and a group of mules just standing around, but the folks that would show up fresh from running a dungeon with a few items they want to sell are few and far between. The tunnel discord is moving way slower than I remember too.
On the positive side there are more camps open because the population is so low.
