fission bombs are really simple to build, fission reactors even simpler, the hardest part is acquiring fissionable material

it's rather unsettling when you think about how easy it is to build nukes, and it's one of the things our intelligence community actually seems to get right and stay on top of

they have been very good at preventing bad actors from getting the bomb, but theres not alot you can do to prevent it when china just gives north korea uranium
