I got sucked into grinding rep with some obscure faction in an old MMO years back, hours of my life gone for, like, one vendor item I didn’t even need. It’s like your brain just locks in, and you can’t quit till it’s done. Maybe take a breather, grab a snack, and see if the urge fades? If not, well, welcome to the grind life

Crushbone is a huge nostalgia trip for me. Yet I regularly avoid hunting there in 2025 because I don’t want to be KOS with indigo brotherhood, even though the guild is super easy to avoid if you’re cognizant of it. Would actually have to go out of your way to aggro it ehile visiting Neriak etc. I just relish being able to feel safe and comfortable everywhere in Neriak as an outsider.
