Leveling up a monk for the first time. Got a Jade Mace + Knuckle Dusters for levels 1-20. What are my best options for level 20-30?

Yah Wus Quivering is solid and can last you til 50.

Stave of shielding is a good replacement for knuckle dusters when you get a little plat under your belt (roundabout 2k tops for the Stave)

Same with peacebringer. Wicked ratio for the price, will last you til you replace it with a lucky drop T staff or some raid weapons.

Honestly you'd be fine for a while with those two.

WQS is a good option. Staff of battle is another nice 200pp option for 2hb. Those two are hard to beat value wise.

Don't skip on haste too.

If you really like 1handers you can do adamantite club and Staff of shielding/Baton of royal stature but peacebringer, imbued fighters staff or tranquil staff will generally do better.

Get an IFS and a 30%+ haste item when you got a bit more money.

T staff if within budget, IFS otherwise.

Peacebringer and staff of battle are too heavy.

Seahorse belt / RBB / RBG are all (relatively) cheap, lightweight, and good haste.

Sash of the Dragonborn / FBSS more tight budget friendly. But really you want IFS and then as much haste as you can possibly afford.

I don't disagree but SOB is 1.8wt lighter than wu for sensibly the same ratio.

Wu is like 100pp
SOB 200pp
Peacebringer 1.2k
IFS 6k.

OP didn't mention budget but if he bought 600pp worth of 1handers instead of the 4k usual combo of adam/SOS then I guess he is on a budget.

For haste, on a budget, SCHW are good bang for your bucks until you have the budget for a seahorse belt.

peacebringer weighs the same as T Staff. totally worth the weight under level 50.

Depending on your twink level, weight doesn't really matter before 50 at least. I was usually at like 40 or 50 stone on my Monk from 1-50 without issue from picking up loot. I leveled really fast. But I was well twinked with a Fungi, IFS, and Seahorse Belt.

Don't forget the dmg caps:

1-9: 10dmg
10-19: 14dmg
20-29: 30dmg.

Most of the 2handers will be sub 0,5 ratio until 20 and won't really shine until 30 compared to much cheaper options unless you have a tstaff.
