It's not "my opinion", IT'S A FACTUAL WAY THE GAME IS PLAYED.

That wiki page was not "the rules". It was an incomplete page that literally said it would need to evolve. How many times do you need to be told?

What the OP was doing never even fit into "the rules" list on that page to begin with! There was never any category for "no consumables", which is what he wanted to do. You are such a moron.
This is still just your opinion on how solo challenges should be played. I'd like to see the evidence for why you think your opinions are facts.

The solo challenge page explicitly mentions clickies like shaman potions and reapers.

[S] -> Soloed with self buffs only
[S-] -> Soloed but used strong item clickies

...

Strong item clickies include Puppet Strings, Donal's Chestplate of Mourning, Manastone, SoulFire, Reaper of the Dead, Wooly Spider Silk Net, etc., but not shaman potions or stuff like a Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring.
The implication of [S] is self buffs only, without strong item clickies.

There are many ways to play them. Hence the need for different categories. You seriously can't comprehend the most basic things being said.

[S] -> Soloed with self buffs only

[S*] -> Soloed without pull (or invis pulled)

[S*-] -> Soloed without pull and used strong item clickies

[B] -> Killed alone as a melee with raid buffs from other characters

[B-] -> Killed alone as a melee with raid buffs from other characters and also used strong item clickies

[B*] -> Killed alone as a melee with raid buffs from other characters without pull (or invis pulled)

[B*-] -> Killed alone as a melee with raid buffs from other characters without pull and also used strong item clickies

[D] -> Duoed

[D-] -> Duoed but used strong item clickies

[D*] -> Duoed without pull (or invis pulled)

[D*-] -> Duoed without pull and used strong item clickies

[T] -> Trioed

Outside buffs are not permitted for casters; melee can no longer receive outside buffs since any disadvantages they previously had have gone away with Velious gear. Any kill, even the lowly S*-, will count towards a rank.
OP got an [S-]

I'm saying that because even though it says outside buffs are allowed for melee.. seems contradictory to say [S] is self buff only

What didn't I comprehend?

You made a claim that your opinion on solo challenges was a fact:

Yet you have supplied zero evidence for this claim.

Then you made a factually incorrect claim about the solo artist challenge page:

From the solo artist challenge page:

Quote:

[S] -> Soloed with self buffs only
[S-] -> Soloed but used strong item clickies

...

Strong item clickies include Puppet Strings, Donal's Chestplate of Mourning, Manastone, SoulFire, Reaper of the Dead, Wooly Spider Silk Net, etc., but not shaman potions or stuff like a Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring.
The implication of [S] is self buffs only, without strong item clickies. What were are calling "consumables" were mentioned in the rules.

The solo artist challenge page also allowed melee to have outside buffs.

Quote:
melee can get as many buffs as they like as they are already at a considerable disadvantage.
Samoht just removed that via his rage-edit today. OP would have been following the old page.

His video was 100% within the solo challenge artist rules as of a few hours ago, before the rage-edit.

I think it does make sense to not say melee can use buffs unless someone else wants to go back and change [S] to (solo with self buffs only (caster) or outside buffs only as melee)

And yet you spammed non-stop for the past hours: "this deserves the highest ranking of [S]", when he was using outside buffs the whole time, not just self buffs. Apologize if you're mature enough, and then stop the nonsense.

Holy fuck.

Sscalez did done good.
People have varying opinions on what a "solo kill" can entail.
I love a good troll. I also love a good pun, a play on words and a good jape. I reserve the right to insert them anywhere in my communications.

So, in short.

Yours says "Dude" his says "Sweet".

Doing the solo challenge first with strong clickie, then just pots then none mean Sscalez gets to tick off the 3 types of solo challenges for that mob? That in itself is an achievement.

[Edit bit] Regarding self buffs. I asked the chanter for buffs myself, ergo self buffed.

Posters both protecting and dissing him are just shitting it up. <me included ironically enough lolocaust!>

The page never had 3 tiers. Using no pots was never a tier, although it deserves to be, and I am working on editing the page to accurately reflect this.

Did you seriously not read the rules I just posted? Let me do it again:

https://wiki.project1999.com/Solo_Artist_Challenge

Quote:

...

Strong item clickies include Puppet Strings, Donal's Chestplate of Mourning, Manastone, SoulFire, Reaper of the Dead, Wooly Spider Silk Net, etc., but not shaman potions or stuff like a Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring.

OP's third attempt didn't use a Reaper, and outside buffs were allowed. That is [S]. It would still be [S] if he didn't use outside buffs and used Wort Pots (Shaman Potions) instead, because Shaman potions are excluded from the "Strong Item Clickie" category. This means Wort Pots don't penalize your solo challenge.

Can you admit you were wrong now? You can disagree with the ruleset, but you can't claim OP didn't follow the solo artist challenge rules as written at the time.
