I notice my stride is different on treadmill, more of a straight legged glide with the belt assisting. Unless it’s one of those recently lubed treadmills where the belt moves too much then my stride is all over the place like a wet slippery fish

I kept waiting for that to animate or something like a huge gif Is that supposed to animate? If you askin me, I love cardio (running, hiking, even suffocating er I mean swimming) more than I like lifting. I’ll prolly sign up for a half-m in winter/dec though. They don’t do them during the summer where I live because people would die

I understand not putting running events in peak summer but I'd still prefer the heat over the cold getting into my lungs ^^

Humans are actually built to be one of the kings of long distance travel amongst land mammals
Take it away, AI! “Humans are exceptionally well-suited for long-distance travel and endurance running due to several evolutionary adaptations. These adaptations, such as efficient sweating, long legs, and spring-like tendons, allow us to outpace most animals over extended distances, even if we can't match their top speeds”
