New Player - let me introduce myself

Hello alle
I would like to briefly introduce myself. Just under a week ago, I started playing P1999 very casually. For the first time ever.
I played Everquest for a while shortly after its release and also played around on my private EQEmu server a few years ago.
But I can hardly remember any details.
At the moment, I'm playing a halfling druid named Thalixa on Green – currently level 9 – and I'm having a lot of fun.

Do you have any tips on where I could play solo at level 9, since there a no groups at my level (playing at european times)?
Please don't forget that I have only very basic equipment: dropped cloth armor and a worn great staff as a weapon.

I can't handle white-con mobs at level 9, and blue ones probably depend on their level.

Welcome to the server! West Commonlands should be good for you for awhile. Start with killing the blue con pumas, spiders and snakes, and work your way up to the willowisps and kodiaks. You should also be able to regularly snag buffs from people porting in and out of the druid ring (if a level 60 Druid hits you with a full line-up of buffs, you'll basically be able to power-level yourself until they expire). Also a good chance that some kind, established player who's just passing through will hook you up with some hand-me-down items that will serve you very well. The Lightstones and Greater Lightstones you get from the wisps will provide good spell money, and the bear skins can be used for tailoring recipes (particularly the handmade backpacks, which you will want yourself, and which you can also sell for good plat).
