Default Dragonbane should generate only 1 point of aggro when cast outside of bellycast range

Lure generates so much aggro that it's nearly useless for the damage
it generates--any wizard casting this too soon, dies. Cast it too
late and it's meaningless.

No the main reason for wizards is Dragon's Bane and Giant's Bane.

Those two spells have ridiculously low aggro. I'm not kidding when I
say 10 DB chain casted will generate less aggro than one 825hps lure.
That's 20khps of nuke which generates less aggro than a single 825hps
nuke.

I've had failed Yelinak raids where the last person to be summoned and
munched on was the wizard who had earlier chained about 12 to 14
dragon's bane. When we win against Yelinak or ST warders, none of the
DB casting wizards die. Even after dropping 10+ DB on the dragons.

Switch them around.
You want massive melee damage more.

>6. Monk (same as #5)

Nahh, given a choice between a monk and rogue, get the rogue.

>7. ShadowKnight

SKs and Monks are usually for chain FD pulling in places like ToV so
you can clear the junk and get to the named.

I always suspected this may have been due to the fact that I could nuke from far away due to the "Unresistable" nature of these spells while others were forced to deal with the belly caster mechanics of the dragons, but I'm not sure.
I just tested this on Live servers. Your suspicion is correct about this. Inside melee range does the full aggro but outside does the 1 point of hate or whatever tiny amount it is.
This probably also applies to all other unresistable spells when cast outside of bellycasting range such as tash/malo. I'd assume this whole thing probably only applies to bellycasters.

Makes Wizards better. Makes many rooted bane dragons a lot easier (provided you stack wizards) because they would be a DPS class that doesn't give a crap about aggro doing 333 DPS a number no rogue or monk could ever reach (at least until OOM)

Although none of that is new if you stack nothing but bane wizard's those fights are easier, its just a problem of needing aggro spam (Scepter) and management (concussion weaving)

Making it 1 aggro outside of Belly range would just further tip the scale might cause guilds to stack Wizards at least on Blue only 1-2 guilds stack classes like that. Not sure about Green
