Loramin. You are so out of touch. I made a point proving why your analogy isn't correct, and you just breeze right past it and restate your original, debunked point.

Was calculator design driving the world economy the way that AI chip design is? Did calculator technology cause market surges like we've seen with NVIDIA? (over a 1000% appreciation in less than 5 years - Stock went from $13 a share in 2020 to $170 a share in 2025)

The answer is no. AI chip design is currently on pace to be a TRILLION DOLLAR a year business in just the next few years.

Does anyone remember when Texas Instruments stock saw a 1000% increase because of calculator chips?? Again, the answer is no.

You, and everyone elses take about AI being just the new thing that sparks irrational fear is part and parcel of the problem. Some of it is irrational fear, like AI "taking over"

But part of the fear is completely rational, like companies being driven out of business because they can't compete. Not just because of the technology it produces, but because technology producers can't compete with giants like NVIDIA.

Its not rational at all, I am sure the computer industry hit numbers like that, and has put the same number of people out of work that AI will. It also created that many jobs.

This is printing the press all over again.

What the bishops (people in power) say isnt always what mean. But in that case "misinformation" would have been anything that went against the church. So anything remotely science like that disproved the little fairy story peddled by the bishops. Sorry its true and has been proven time and again. Heliocentric solar system. Flat dome covered earth (just lulz).
A.I being controlled specifically by a few tech bro billionaires who have zero interests in anyone but themselves and their bottom line. Elmo specifically manipulates his A.I child (prolly cuz his bio units hate his guts) to spew whatever drivel will aid his latest ketamin fuelled delusion.

Your analogy is slightly correct however so kudos! They both allow the clueless to make things that they otherwise couldnt. No wait, printing press only prints what you write/draw/sing.
Sorry, another swing and a miss.

It's really rude of the bishops to do that just to be mean.
