I suggested almost exactly that many moons ago. It's a ruleset that could work. The problem is nobody is steering this ship anymore. And everyone's attention span is so short now nobody wants to read more than 2 sentences. From the sounds of it, Project Quarm is using a similar idea for their PVP anyway. Any new PvP server needs to have teams of some sort. A classic solution would be the Sullon Zek teams, but personally I'm not particular about the exact teams.

I just think there needs to be teams of some sort, because teams channel the neckbeard energy in a fun/competitive way. Without that, you inevitably wind up with Red (ie. with de-leveled epic-wielding fungi-wearing level 5's griefing anyone who tries to join the server, ensuring they never come back).

A Sullon Zek ruleset server would be awesome. That server was great until Luclin came and ruined travel.

I miss the days before the green server launched. I could put on a LFG tag in any of the hot zones and usually get a group within 15 minutes. Green was good for awhile but once they merged green and teal I knew the writing was on the wall. Before long I could spend hours LFG and not find one. I spent so much time soloing on green that I realized I may as well just play PS5.
