I’d definitely pick the race you like the most. A JBB is a huge advantage so Iksar is certainly playing on hard mode. I have a troll and like it but would have been just as happy with a Barb. More wisdom, less size, white bear and cool armor fashion, less xp penalty, barb spiritalist hammer. Also, they fit in HK without shrink pots or bear form.

I agree. My thought was to make enough Wort Pots and kill a Cliff Golem once using said Wort Pots. This proves you can kill a mob that drops torpor. Then buy Torpor so you don't have to spend eternity recharging wort pots to kill cliff golems. Might even get lucky and have Torpor drop.
Economically I’m not sure this will work. Each wort click is a torp tick that costs roughly 100p (less if you banked toes…but getting alchemy up is a cost as well). The torp drop rate on cliff golems is extremely low, they often don’t drop anything but a starmetal thing. The other spells aren’t worth much. I use Worts only when raiding…I use a Mystic Cloak more often which is something a Barb can quest where the other races are KOS.

I’d rather farm FS, hill giants, or seafuries. Frankly if you JBB everything in highkeep and sell the FS you can buy a fungi and then torp at 60. IMHO focus on exp above all else. In the mid 50’s an epic will be more helpful than a JBB but it’s not required to get there.
