SO WHO is a sociopath and who is a psychopath? Who is the best human example for those?

To my knowledge Gary Smith from Bully is a sociopath:



And Red John (The Mentalist) or Leo Kasper (Manhunt 2) is a psychopath.

But I still don't understand what it means?

Clinical definitions are kind of cloudy because they rely on the self-report of the afflicted. Until we can literally read minds with electrode things or whatever, concluding that somebody "didn't feel bad" when they did a thing just because they told you they didn't isn't much better than speculation.

All Imma say is the definition of sociopath and psychopath changed a lot from what they taught us in college 15 years ago. To the point of me questioning what the point of studying psychology even was.
