Hey all, been a minute and I got a new laptop so I decided to redownload the 'ole P99 and boot it up. Looking for a raiding guild but I also like to play around on lower levels other toons if nothing else if going on.
60 DRU 57 SHM 44 ENC And a plethora of other random toons Probably best to message me on here since I'm jumping around all my guys redoing setting and GINA triggers etc. Samnotwise is my main.

Your options for this are
Gravity - Smaller, best guild pound for pound. Mix of semi-casual and hardcore raiders Fuse - Megazerg. Do this if you don't really wanna work on raids and just get loot from the conveyer belt. They get the most targets. Sanctum - A collection of smaller guilds that work together for raids. If you like the intimate family style stuff, this is the way to go. TSS - Wildcard option. Not super successful raid wise, but they random loot, so pretty rewarding early on for new players.

Teddie is in Gravity so no bias there.
Fuse is a mix of Riot and Kittens. It’s a blend of both cultures. You can work hard for extra DKP or warmbody raid (like any other guild). I’m in Fuse but rarely raid these days. It’s 10 years after Velious launched. There are 1hr FTE locks and drafts. Everyone on the server is ok with casual raiding at this point…

Not really man. You can literally afk at Fuse raids. Grav you gotta be at least somewhat on point.

I actually enjoy playing the game and being part of a guild that works hard together to bring down targets. We are a family, you are a machine.
But I am sure your 150 man Vulaks are as intense as our 35 man Vulaks. Look, I am not telling him NOT to go to you guys. I am just saying if he wants to see the game and not have the intensity that a medium/small guild requires, Fuse is the guild for him. You guys provide that and we don't. I really have no interest in that, and I have had members of Fuse be incredibly rude to me (there are many great members).

Gravity's roster includes a veritable who's who of the most unlikeable people left on blue including but not limited to good ol' teddie bearfoot. see, for example, this thread.

Hey Teddie has it rough, man. His wife has him in the doghouse and the dog sleeps outside. But she allows Wi-FI use when her boyfriend doesn't need it for streaming. As for you samwise I feel confident to say most of the the heads from blue server circa when I remember seeing you are either retired or on Green.

Quote:
Servers got 4 main entities (if you focus on draft access) and the vibe is as follows roughly: Fuse: Lions share of content, lions share of players. Combination of 2 large guilds (Riot+KWSM). You can coast here for loot, or step up and get it faster. Contend with more bidders overall, but you'll also see most drops here. 24/7 access to content until the random times they don't want to raid over night Sanctum: 2nd largest guild. Composed of about a dozen small guilds, they operate solo within their own guilds but on quakes and sometimes cycles when they compete they do so as the alliance. Lots of identities you can meld into if you're looking for a guild more your speed/style. Gravity: Probably the 2nd most "ambitious" guild, we generally go for everything we can as long as we can cover it. Same as fuse, you can coast to loot or you can get your hands dirty and get some faster. I cant speak for Fuse but we (Gravity) are generally pretty welcoming in trying to teach people stuff and let them try out different raid roles and wont turn ya away from getting a shot to try. For me its a good mix of access to content, but the content isn't always trivial as we don't field numbers that just make it feel braindead to me. So challenge generally always exists. All the above guilds use DKP for loot or a style of DKP. The 4th guild: TSS: They generally pop up on quakes but also do some weekly things within themselves. They do loot all modified /random. So there isn't a feeling of needing to attend everything to keep up in DKP leaderboards. I think it takes some of the FOMO out of it, which can be nice. Lot of good options, it is really just seeing what fits your style. Joining one guild doesn't generally blacklist you from later moving to another. So don't be afraid to dive in somewhere and get your feet wet and feel obligated to stay. While some will be sad to see you possibly pass thru and leave, its a game. We're here to have fun and escape the world and find joy and enjoyment in our leisure time. No one guild is perfect. Always happy to talk more about the guilds. It's a fun server, FTE lock meta has been good for spreading access to content to other guilds rather than the monopoly it was a few months back. So you can do it all in any guild, just find what makes you happy
