lol I think what we're witnessing in this video is a sim of whatever AI "protecting human life at all costs" and it to just choosing to get rid of all humans would look like.

You know AI is an issue and everything but a much bigger one for me is how all these YouTuber idiots put like a clip at the start of their video that I get really interested in and then they cut to like an intro and I close the fucking video

MIT did the math on generative ML's energy footprint

Quote:
"The researchers tallied up the amount of energy it would cost if someone, hypothetically, asked an AI chatbot 15 questions, asked for 10 images, and three five-second videos. The answer? Roughly 2.9 kilowatt-hours of electricity, which is the equivalent of running a microwave for over 3.5 hours."

seems worth it to me ngl

butt

hopefully the future is local / on-prem for enthusiasts and enterprise, you don't need a trillion parameter model in the cloud for like 90% of use cases and you get the bonus of OpenAI / Anthropic not knowing everything about you and the inevitable data breaches

Is that because you're betting on novel energy breakthroughs or do you just run your microwave without a faraday cage and stare at it?

yes

Kaia names and comments on her own art
After rendering, Kaia makes a short Ollama call (gemma3:12b, max 80 tokens) to generate a 1–2 sentence comment on the image — what she "sees" in it, what it reminds her of. This goes in the Discord message alongside the image. The comment uses the flame parameters as seed context for the prompt, not vision (no base64 image passed — too slow). This keeps it fast and characterful.

I teach courses in energy flow. You may be interested in my new seminar 'Cyberpunk Qigong' where (once your check clears) we (you) will bathe underneath a grid of commercial cellular repeaters arranged at close range in sync with your own sacred geometry. If you notice dead birds or your skin on fire that only happens very rarely and usually to losers. You're no loser! I knew from our first meeting when I saw you staring at a fucking microwave.
