Default Client crash on camp out

When i camp out in game i get a popup upon completion that says something like the client may have crashed, then there are two buttons for sending an error report, yes or no.

When i press no the client crashes.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes, this is a common enough problem. Here is a possible solution:

Edit "Launch Titanium.bat" with a text editor to use this set of commands instead of what's in there by default:

cmd.exe /C Start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme

This will make the game run on a single CPU core, which seems to help with stability.

Only downside to doing this is you need to remember to re-apply it whenever a new patch comes out, as Launch Titanium.bat will be overwritten.

Yeah had that happen all the time. Running it as administrator mostly solved it for me. It crashed like 90% of the time and now it only crashes if I camp out like 8 times in the same session. If I have lots of toon switching to do I'll camp to desktop and relaunch when I feel it is coming.

Set eqgame.exe to xp sp 2 (or sp3) compatibility.
