I just used the el Hefe video to successfully load EQ onto a new lenovo legion 5i. Once I changed the options to my computer's resolution (2560 x 1600), the UI got very small, though everything else is really crisp. I tried in both full screen and windowed mode. when I try tweaking settings, I can sometimes get the UI larger, but only if the window is a portion of the screen and heavily pixelated (for instance, full screen mode at 1152x864 gives me a large UI, but I lose the sides. full screen mode on 1280x720 looks almost right??). I read a bunch of posts here and elsewhere about custom UIs or updating dimensions in exe files, but not how to actually do that. I don't want to mess anything up, as I have done in the past on old computers, and don't know which method to try or how. I think I have an OLED display, so I don't know if posts about 4k apply to me. Could someone pleaseeeee give me a fool-proof step by step on how to fix this? Like exactly which file to open and how to modify etc. if that is the fix? I am not tech savvy and most posts I can find on this are either old and/or don't spell out the steps. MUCH appreciated!!!!

An upscaled UI would the easiest fix. Custom UIs are just a folder that goes in your uifiles directory.
Then in game you can /load and you a selecting from the folder names Duxa is a popular custom UI and theres this upscaled version https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...d.php?t=436182 You can also find the Velious UI upscaled (among others) on the eqinterface site https://www.eqinterface.com/download...&sb=lastupdate

unfortunately neither UI from those links worked at my computers correct reoslution. Interestingly, full screen mode on 1280x800 basically works so far but does something weird with my second monitor where I can't view anything correctly there are the same time. and I'd like to be able to have maps etc up. If i have to play like that, I guess I will, but I feel like I must be so close to fixing it. I dont know why 1280x800 works even though my reoslution is 2560 x 1600. I also tried changing the scaling back to 100% on my system display (I keep it at 150) but that didnt help
