Guardian robe questions

Sorry in advance if this is redundant, I tried searching for other threads but they're all ten years old and closed.

1) Does this thing actually still drop? Can anyone confirm they've looted one in like the last... 6 months? I don't mind something being stupidly rare, I kinda like camps like that, I just want to make sure I haven't been wasting my time. I know it's classic for it to drop during this timeline on p99, but things can get messed up and overlooked in patches etc.. I've been camping it for over two months now, have easily killed over 3000 guardians and have gotten basically every armor piece many times, including 3 bps and 4 legs. The rest I lost count but easily a dozen or more of every other piece.

2) Wiki is not exactly clear on it. It says the named guardians drop it, but the wiki article is a mob called "a gargoyle guardian". So should I be killing those too? Cause I've been avoiding them.

3) Some of the guardians in skyshrine are much harder than others. Do the harder ones offer any kind of increased chance to drop it? Cause I just stick to the low green ones that are easy to kill. I can do 10 per cycle that way and be full mana again before they start repopping.

It's definitely a horrible camp but I have made about 14k in sapphires and all the thurg pot mats I could ever want, so it hasn't been a complete waste of time in any case.

Yes it still drops. Friend of mine hit 8k kills before he got his,another got 3 in under 5k total...ss drop rates are awful.

1. It definitely still drops. These forums are littered with posts about "does X still drop" and "Y doesn't drop anymore." It's random and it's very rare. You aren't wasting your time (any more than you normally are when gaming).

2 & 3 I don't know.

Ok thank you, I figured as much but at a certain point even a nerd like me goes uhhh, what am I doing?

I almost never see other people trying to farm it either, that was another thing which made me think huh.. maybe something changed? Sometimes things are deemed to be out of era so they nerf\remove them. Who knows.

I will resume my sweaty grind.
