I bought Half-Life, Everquest, Age of Empires, Warcraft and Heroes of Might and Magic III like 30 years ago and am sorted for gaming investments. Budget is just electricity... thanks for the reminder to take a meter reading.
You don't even have a steam account?

Valve did bully me into getting Steam at some point when they changed multiplayer functionality of Halflife and its gamemods. I ended up rebuying Baldurs Gate I&II for the EEs (enhanced editions, no essence emeralds, that would be rmt). Those should have made my previous list - good games.

I’m really sad Firearms went extinct. That was a fun mod. Ngl I preferred it even to Counter-Strike and Team Fortress. Rip.

EQemu server and a few lua/perl addon scripts will keep you occupied.
Having some sql chops helps as well.

Just dont sell/make bank on any mods you make.
Lolocaust!

LOL it really is a small world. 2.6 was maybe my favorite HL mod of all. <3.

I made my playername in Firearms "Parts", because it preceeded your name with your rank, and I took childish joy in the computer blasting everyone with "private parts" before you levelled up.

I'd love that. If I ran the server it would be called Tc_iwojimjam.

I was reading up on what happened to Firearms and it seems to be a huge relationship meltdown communication breakdown situation.

I'd be curious what OP thinks of this and whether the answer in his view involves affiliate links to online webshops.

What gaming costs? We're playing a free to play game from 1999 that can run on any toaster sitting out at the curb on trash day.

If you have money and want nicer stuff great, if you don't there is a lifetime of free shit you can do
