Question on ogre bowquest

Hello,

The wiki describes the strategy of having lots of Ogres equipped with a Weighted Axe and a bow to drastically reduce the number of players required to kill Lord Yelinak and Cazic Thule (maybe others). The strategy seems to be mostly used on P99 Red, probably because there are less players.

My question is:

If I wanted to have a character to participate in this strategy, would it absolutely need to be an Ogre? Since the Weighted Axe is also equippable by Trolls and Barbarians, would it work as well with those races? I understand that Ogre is considered one of the best Warrior races because of Frontal Stun Immunity, but for this strategy it isn't needed if I understand correctly.

Any large race can do it, though bows are (allegedly) getting a rework in the next patch.

Earthshakers are already starting to become much cheaper as people anticipate this change.

Here is a video of my troll SK doing bowquest with a weighted Axe, if you want to see some damage numbers.

As already stated, it sounds like the main hand damage bonus will no longer be applied to your bow damage in a future patch. It could be quite some time before this update occurs though.

It's not an alleged change, Nilbog literally said so. Bows will have nothing to do with your mainhand weapon after next patch.

This can only be done on red due to the lack of untanked time rules.

What is this? On green and blue, if a raid target is untanked for too long, something happens?
