Something always stuck with me from these posts and it was someone with a big thread where they said they were giving away game changing items and plat because they were quitting or whatever. Of course people jumped on being included and someone was picked…. But what I think happened here was a massive RMT coverup and they knew the person they would pick from the start. This allowed them to RMT in the public eye with no one thinking twice (except me) - I believe the “winner” was in fact a customer and they created the whole thing to hide the transfer of massive amounts of p99 wealth.

I never had a problem with RMT. I suppose it would make people even more greedy with camps that's why its bad?
I always thought it was fine, because like, I collect old things IRL like comic books, and toys and stuff, and I like how people can make a living with their favorite hobbies. So i always thought RMT was good in a game like Everquest. Never really believed in the reasons why its bad, but I never cared enough to like be a revolutionary about it or anything. But I think RMT would actually be better for these types of games than no RMT. | ||

If P99 was it's own game and not an emulated server, RMT wouldn't be a big deal. Games like Diablo 2 have always had RMT, amd it was fine.
