Nostalgic RP

I’m just getting restarted after being away from EverQuest since 2001.
I love the roleplaying aspect, but haven’t found anyone here except end-gamers and their alternates. Is there a chance for me to succeed as a level 1 role player? If so, which class would you recommend?

I RP'ed on my first toon, an Iksar Warrior from level 1-50 before I stopped playing him.

It was a lot of fun, I refused to speak anything other than Lizardman or Dark Speech. I praised Cazic Thule, I insulted High Elves for having hollow bones like birds, Gnomes for being too ugly to eat, and Halflings for their lazy attitudes.

Druid, qeynos and qeynos ps hills, and you can do quests, and collect items from quests its fun, but hard. But rewarding if successful.

How do you define success? I would say pick whatever class you have the most fun RPing. Maybe avoid rogue and warrior because they're more gear/group dependent.

Unfortunetly in EQ "RP" means, you gotta read the wiki to figure out what the fuck the quest NPCs are talking about.
