Hail, Adventurers!

We've recently seen an uptick in reports about players stating their accounts have been compromised. The common denominator between these incidents is that each player had extremely simple passwords. With that in mind, we highly recommend strengthening your account passwords and practicing good password hygiene:

• Do not use the same password across multiple platforms.
• Use a combination of case-sensitive letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Do not write down your password somewhere it can be easily accessed by someone else.

While it was not relevant in these incidents, I'll also remind everyone to never share their account password with anyone. The vast majority of compromised accounts stem from this, often times years after the account information was shared with someone.

Project 1999 will never ask for your account password. If you are concerned your account has been compromised recently, please make a forum post under the Petition/Exploit section of our forums:
