I’ll be playin’ EverQuest Legends, so I will. Monsters and Memories askin’ for quid or tenner when it’s the bleedin’ whales that should be payin’ for the whole thing. That’s the way of MMOs these days, especially if they don’t want to crash and burn, y’know?
No?

Y'all should apply for beta if you haven't already. I've ran into a few people in game who got into beta less than 12 hours after applying. They seem to be selecting a lot more people for it now. I've been playing daily for a couple of months and I'm still not bored of the game. I didn't rush to max level however, and have spent a lot of time doing trades and exploring, leveling alts etc.

Really fun game tho.

The class re-balancing/re-working is really looking decent. Not sure if they'll manage to get every class deployed by release to Early Access. Overall, I think they made the game too big for launch - not in content but in scope. They could have cut the size of some of the zones by 50-75% and still had an enormous game. As it is, it feels like there are so many unpopulated, empty areas. My least favorite parts of EverQuest and Star Wars Galaxies were the too-big zones with no content in between the hubs.

Aside from that, the game feels really good for an indy game with no cash-flow. It feels handcrafted and truly the successor to EverQuest in all the good (and bad) ways.
