There's honestly no reason to step foot in the Karanas on p99 either.

There are lots of good exp camps for people to to out there, even modern players will be at some of the good 6 min solo spots.

And on EQL there's just no reason to farm items or anything that isn't off raid targets.

I recognize that p99 has its Shm/enc/mnk min maxing problem too.

But it's just magnified 3x on EQL.

Like, I really wanted to do a build that I thought would be fun to play EQ with! That would be cool to farm EXP

But... All I do with that build is kill raid targets.. I dont need to grind for weeks to get through the 30s...

At least when it takes weeks to get to your 30s, you have a reason to move around and try different places.

Since all you are going to be doing is killing raid bosses, you kind of end up just min maxing the builds.

It's really just not that fun to die to raid targets because you're dedicated to your weird build.

And because its so fast to level you're like, "eh whatever, i have no attachment to this shitty druid im stuck with" you just swap it out.
