Has anyone had any luck on installing / running P99 on an M4 chip MacBook? Would love to play on my 25’ Air.. can’t figure it out for the life after hours of running parallels / other windows emulators. I even outsourced this to a few people much more savvy with computers and they couldn’t figure it out. Any advice would be much appreciated

Yes Patrick, I got it work using VMWare. It is free, just install VMWare, install titanium on it. Could not get it to work using other instructions, it ran like x86 too slow (frame animation). VMWare runs it well, only issue I have not been able to solve is night vision, there isn't any on any toons, so its like playing a human.
VMWare (free), Titanium ISO (can google it now). | ||

After trying for days to try and get it to run on Crossover, I officially got Project 1999 running on my MacBook Neo with Gamehub, which is in beta. Took some finagling... If anyone is interested I could post my settings and what I did.

Hey all - I made this app/repo of scripts to automate setting up a wine wrapper with all the necessary fixins.
https://github.com/prokopto-dev/apple-silicon-p99 been working a charm and have a couple folks confirming that the scripts (not the UI) work on Intel Macs just fine - the Apple Silicon ones work out of the box with the UI based app! If youre looking for a map and log parser, Im also working on a big fork of nparse that is pretty far along. Give em both a look! Always soliciting feedback! https://prokopto-dev.github.io/nparse-plus/latest/

I will add that I have had no issues on the winewrapper version with night vision visibility!

Just to clarify on my end, do you mean the mapping/parser tool, or the silicon compatible wrapper?
Happy to look at both!

Okay! I should have a possible fix for you coming out! It was defaulting to wined3d but theres a few alternatives to that backend, and now theres an optional "performance patch" you can apple (changes the wine wrapper settings to target other backends) - it also applies some disabling of antialiasing features which arent as much an issue on these older games on modern hardware, but cost a lot of extra compute in the translation layer!
Before your reply, I also revamped some of the map drawing logic on the parser, but thats unrelated - but was also an issue!
