Phini is definitely a good target for your dirge strat. He has reasonable HP and MR, and no placeholders to churn that would require burning the same mana you want for the named. I got him without any wort clicks in that video, but that fight went better than average and I think with my current strat and gear I would have to budget about a wort pot per kill if I solo farmed him.
I've expanded the solo checklist on
my magelo to include mobs I think are in some way interesting targets. I spawned a Fellspine and got it to 1% in a ~15 minute fight that included a quake midway through, but /q'd to avoid the faction hit. When I came back I was the one that died, despite the same move being successful with the placeholder. On some later attempts Fellspine fled, which I couldn't deal with (especially while saving faction). So I want to kill Fellspine, but I may be blocked on acquiring a better understanding of how to kill a mob without taking a faction hit as a melee, and the specific flee mechanics of Fellspine.
I'm starting to think about Dartain the Lost and Emperor Chottal, too. I think emp would be very hard.

Discovering I could charm solo these is one of the things that got me hooked on bard soloing. Once I'm BIS I'll have to take another attempt at it toe to toe.
