summoned pet amor

can you give a summoned pet armor peices to improve their AC or other stats?

just kind of a thought experiment, i doubt ill go farm armor peices for a summoed pet, but im curious if anyone knows if they can equip say a full set of brinze armor for bonus AC

Yes you can. They also benefit from +HP or haste or other stats on the armor.

Yes but you wont get any items back.

From the wiki:

"Pets can equip items in these slots: primary weapon, secondary weapon, ranged weapon, shoulder, legs, chest, head, foot, hands, arms, back, face, and neck. Additionally, they can equip a single wrist slot, and a single ear slot. Pets cannot equip no drop items. Pets do not follow race or class restrictions on items"
