problems with sky after patch 17

Ever since patch 16 which a was unable to install and patch 17 which i did install I have no sky in game. I turned the sky on and tried switching it from complex to off and back on but it will not came back it just shows a black sky with a big purple dot where the sun used to be please help[You must be logged in to view images. Having the same issue but only since V18 this morning. Also no graphic for loading screen only loading bar and black background at character selection screen.

I said the file was up to date in my post, it was at the time. I'm not going to upload a new one every patch.
