I think you will have a fair amount of people griefing others. With xp loss, they will leave the server

Pretty sure exp loss will deter a ton of people from the pvp server. it's not classic and it only serves to give mega griefers an erection, knowing that they just cost you 2 hours cause they caught you at 10%. Since most people won't even bother putting up with it, the server will become just that a bunch of mega griefers / dickheads / generally unfriendly people .....with a population on par with beta

I'm still going with item loot over this xp death business :P.

Coin is easily and quickly destroyed. XP is going to result in the mad griefs, though will discourage coming at the same group over and over and over.

xp death is the dumbest idea ever by the dumbest devs ever

imagine a nice guy who gets killed , on running back to his corpse dies again

gets corpse killed within 10 mins

he now has an hour of xping to make that back

and im sure in that hour he will be totally fine : )

I agree, Id rather lose an item before exp. exp loss will literally turn this server into a shit show.

just have a feeling it will, I know that with class exp rates no one will want to die then get killed on a corpse run losing a couple hours of play time. Also I don't ever remember losing exp in classic pvp other than dying from a DoT after zoning or something but if I must I'll find more info on that

Dot's would take it sometimes which also wouldn't credit the kill to the other player. I remember killing people with dots and not being able to loot, pissed me off.

I like how xp loss stops bind rushing but it makes sense that anyone who gets off on griefing will love it. I can see it running people off when they're killed 6 times in an hour or on CR's etc. We'll see, they can always remove it later.

I don't see that much griefing happening. It's a time waste for both parties.

If I kill someone live ill move along instantly. I don't wanna waste my own time to fuck around.
