It's kind of wierd rails are coming up a lot these days, the data centre we're putting the servers in have different rails than ours, some kind of reversable slide in/adjustable stuff.

Heh, $800/drive is nothing, I just got quoted $32/gb for new fibre channel SATA disk for our SAN [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

For just an individual drive? Or you talking about the enclosure as a whole? lol

Here's something everyone can do in the meantime, I found this on Youtube the other day looking for something i cant remember anymore. It's a "documentary" about the making of Everquest and it interviews some pretty cool people involved in the original project. The guy doing the interviewing and making this video is kindof a douche, but everything else is cool.

Once it's a SAN individual drives aren't all that meaningful, it's per delivered GB of accessible storage... freakin fortune. They're prorating in some kind of storage virtualization stuff they haven't even bought yet LOL [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

@evercrack videos
LOL Qeynos is Sony EQ spelled backwards [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
You'd expect them to give Qeynos some more accessibility-love if it carried the name of the company and game [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Right right, I was referring to a single SAS drive replacement for a server costing 800$ not buying an enclosure new : P Kinda a diff scenario!
