I was given a vision that the server would be instant 50 or really easy to 50 like VZTZ...... but all items were Searyx'ed. Thus forcing you to perma camp most items in the game forever. So we would have pvp! And we wouldn't lose players to having all the gear.

It isn't NEARLY as cut throat as the vztz boxes (no MQ helps you have some peace).

I always thought this was the best approach. Not "instant to 50" (or even 2x), but definitely leaning more on itemization over exp grind.

we did have a good thing going on in VZTZ minus the hackers and wipes. I love 1999 and thank GOD for it! I just want us to work towards a solution and ultimate victory.

Well I didn't make this thread, but since it exists I'll give my 2cp:

An itemization treadmill is better for population. If you look at PvE as two halves - itemization and levels - then look at the difference between them. Levels restrict you. A level 10 might be playing by himself with no one to PvP (because he's level 10). Someone with a FBSS can still fight/play with someone without a FBSS. That's the difference, and it's a very big one on a low pop server.
