What sort of event would you find fun?

how bout one of those events with a misplaced decimal point, like the multiple ones on blue, where a ton of people get lustrous russet, manastones, and scimitars of mistwalker.

You are asking for trouble when trying to organize large pvp events with a very small staff, and an impatient group of bloodthirsty retards as a player base.

I was around for the events Searyx mentioned and they were both decent, and probably didnt require a ton of manpower.

IMO, randomly spawned PVE raid-style gimmick mobs with some " raid quality " loot would be the best and easiest thing you can do.

They create PVP , as they will require at least a few groups to take them down.

Throw in a World wide emote, so everyone knows its there to go for, and it should be pretty decent. Put them in random places so people need to actually look for them.

Best of the Best has been done 200 times, and nobody gives a shit at this point about who's the Best of the Worst.

Ohai guys.

As a senior guide i have very limited powers. I can't spawn mobs or summon loots but I might be able to coerce Rogean into helping me with some of that.

I am curious as to what sort of event you guys find the funnest. I'd like to run an event but I want it to be something people are likely to want to attend.

I'll add a poll to this and if you have another choice to add you can let me know and i'll have Nilbog or Rogean add it in.

What sort of event interests you?
What sort of reward would interest you?

group v group pvp events
scavenger hunt type events
flavor/quest based type events
Large scale pve encounter type events

a capture the flag / regicide type of deal. a small zone. like maybe unrest or crushbone. 2-4 grps. 6 people each. each person has a leader. if that leader is killed the group loses.
wouldent have to summon items, maybe each player could cough up 50pp . so tht could be a 900 pp win for a 6 person group. 150pp each.

have 1-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-45, and 46+ be level brackets.

OR summon everyone to a zone, let it be FFA pvp, and have a royal rumble, last man standing wins a real nice item for his race/class.
