In that case, I would recommend you connect with the EQEmu community for more general information. Since you posted on P99/R99 forums, I assumed you wanted to multibox on these servers. Here is the EQEmu homepage. If you drill down into Server List and then select "View" under View Information column (The Hidden Forest Example), you will find the homepage for the specific server you wish to multibox on. You may also ask your question in the Forums section of EQEmu. Those are more appropriate places to ask about multiboxing on other EQEmu servers.

This thread is getting to the point where it may need to be rebuilt and expanded into two threads:
Installing P99 on a Mac Troubleshooting P99 on a Mac If only to keep the information organized and easy to follow. It still is if you read the thread from start to finish, but it would be nice to have it in a pretty presentation. I will post instructions on increasing gamma through wine. I will also post instructions on how to use wine to simulate a three button mouse with a single button mouse. IE: OSx allows you to use control, option, and command but EQ does not using the default installation instructions. I work support for a software company, so I could probably do this for the community. Phobus and Avatar if it is okay with you for me to repost your work (with credit of course) I will do so. -- In short: We have a basic setup guide that gets EQ loaded, logged in, and essentially functional. There are some particulars scattered throughout the thread that should be in the initial guide.

There should also be different patching instructions for macs.
The EQchanges will have to be extracted, the folders opened, and the contents placed in the appropriate directories to prevent breakage.

To increase gamma through wineskin for P99
Caveat Emptor: I have not actually tested this to see if it makes any noticeable difference in-game. But this is how you increase gamma for wineskin. I keep my P99 icon docked. Ctrl-click the icon, options>show in finder Ctrl-click the icon, show package contents Open Wineskin Click Set Screen Options Check out that sweet "Extra Gamma Correction" slider! I put mine right in the middle. Click Done Click Advanced Click Kill Wineskin Processes Click Done Click Quit Launch P99 and away you go!

Works great on my late 2011 Macbook Pro i7 2.2 GHz with a AMD Radeon HD 6750M card.
Still haven't figured out how to get past the full screen issue though.

Anyone know if Crossover Games is better per se? I've heard some reports that EQ runs faster through Crossover Games versus other programs using WINE.
Since Crossover Games is based on WINE, shouldn't the performance be pretty close to other programs like wineskin?
