That is one reason why the server de-popped

This xp bonus is only going to help it short term

I can acknowledge that XP loss is a risk and can cause a setback but it seems much less harsh than the Classic EQ Item drop.

If people are going to be scared away by the risk associated in PvP then they aren't the right crowd to playing here.

With all the PvP games out there this is the only one that has any significant risk so it's population is going to lower and take longer to grow but at least it is here for players that are tired of the WoW generation of PvP and want something tougher like Classic EQ, ShadowBane,etc...
