Not going to argue it further though.

Opt-in global channels would be win-win for both sides.
There is already an opt in channel now its called guild chat.

New players can check forums, and join any number of guilds I am certain auto invite.

Terrible community ruined red99. They led the dev team to believe global ooc + yellow text would ruin the server, which it did... by not being turned on.

Classic should be classic, but somethings can't be the same, the current ruleset would work with 500-800 stable pop, not with 200 (prime time).

See you next winter pvp champs

vocal minority can do that

poll numbers are cut and dried



The exp curve adjustment was excellent. Server just needs opt-in channel for those of us who want to do our trading in-game / not play in a ghost town + resist curve lowered closer to what live was.

C'mon, give those Kids their toys.

Give OOC a try and snip it out after a 2 week trial period, if things turn out to idiotic.

And hell, yellow text is classic, more classic then anything else. Bring it on!

No it isn't. Yellow text only occurred if you won a duel against someone, and it was only zone-wide.

Incorrect, yellow text was server wide, people would often troll things like "Blizzard has defeated Verant" etc., etc., but it was most certainly server wide until a patch later on eventually changed it to zone-wide.
