Question Clicking forces game to minimize

It seems to be at random when in Full screen, anywhere I click whether it be a hotkey, another char, an items link etc. my entire game window is forcefully minimized to the desktops taskbar. Not only is it hellish annoying but it has even nearly gotten me killed a couple of times. I've tried decreasing my desktops resolution and closing out my vista sidebar but neither of those helped.
Does anybody else have this issue?? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have that too after i switched from window mode to fullscreen mode.

I then just click in the ingame options(alt+o) - "display" then "video mode" choose the same resolution i already have, click "accept" and then "yes" when it asks me to keep the resolution. It works then.

I just always have to do the above when i switched from window to fullscreen mode, not a big deal imo.

For Vista and Win7, this issue also went away as long as I made sure to launch my shortcut as administrator.
