I also noticed that handing Rathmana pp does nothing. But after going through the quest dialoque and handing him 30 GOLD pieces he seems to be giving me faction hits.
However, I have a problem as well. I have at this point handed Rathmana about 5000GP and I've still not moved from indifferent to amiable. Is it REALLY supposed to take this much coin/effort??? The old quest description on Paladins of Norrath says "40 to 50pp". [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Greetings Deezle,
Quick question: After handing all that gold over to Rathmana, did you run to the Temple of SolRo and check faction or did you just /con Rathmana to try and check your progress? Be sure to check your faction inside of the temple. (or if Ortallius is up you can check with him) Looks like Rathmana should be on TempleofSol faction, so fixing that for next update. His gold quest for faction seems to be fine. | ||

Good point, I didn't actually check my faction in the Temple. I (possibly incorrectly it seems) assumed that when I conned him, I was getting an accurate indication of my faction. I'll log on to the game in a little while and check my faction in the temple itself and report back here soon. Thank you for the timely response.

Just got my Bar of Ronium. So the faction quest is working, apart from Rathmana conning anything but indifferent. I'm actually warmly in Sol Ro Temple now. =) Thanks again for the help Sundawg!
One more question...is smithing skill needed to do the combine in the forge? I know on live it wasn't, but the quest description on the p99 wiki leaves this issue in question.
