Only thing that 'destroyed' anything is the mobs that were on us. I mean I realize this follows the Flowers Plan for Victory (TM)... to only attack while people have mobs, then gloat when you exp kill them... but you're not really going to wrack up many killshots hiding behind faction sir.

I followed you around for an hour hoping and telling you to move from guards, but lets face it, 1 on 1 Flowers can't kill things unless mobs are there to help [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I'm sure Flowers exp deathing everyone rather than actual pvping has done wonders for the server. Well done sir, well done!

If by pure melee you mean the mob I was fighting, ya I died to him. Then got bored of waiting for you to stop hiding behind guards. Pro dude. If you ever move away from the guards you just let me know.

I see nothing wrong with using guards/mobs to achieve your goals - especially when the odds are not in your favor. How else can a noob fight back against red con griefers?
It's also justified when you're fighting against players who are bad enough to nuke players next to guards (ie: everyone in FF). They will then tell everyone you "trained" them because they don't understand how guard assist works, leading to further luls.

Okay, I think we've all noticed the message board for red 99 has failed. Lately I'm too busy in game to bother logging into a message board just to find out what people in game are thinking, specially now global OOC has been added. Also the number of people using the Red 99 section of the message board has dropped significantly.

To improve this I would suggest:

1. Wiping the message board. This would allow new users to come in and have comparable post counts to some of the long time players. Lets face it those of us that love EQ still have less time for message boards as we get older, we have families and ingame stuff to do.

It's not fair just cause we have commitments that we can't have the high post counts that the board trolls have

2. Change the post counting so all new messages count as 10 message. This would allow us to catch up with all the people that have posted a ton without having to do the work of actually posting. We want high post counts as much as the next guy, we just don't want to ... yknow actually post.

3. Double posting and two accounting. Let us count double posts toward our post count, or let us use two accounts to post and they would count toward the same post count.

If this isn't done immediately I will Heartbrand all over the message boards, whine in OOC and send endless petitions about why I am right.

Thank you for listening.
