![]() Well i got mine fixed. It turned out that ATT was turning me down. Basically they do a Casading waterfall affect to their bandwidth. He who complains the most gets the most and the rest get bumped to a lower amount. I complained for 2 days at them on the 3rd i was able to log in again. They nerfed my connection just enough to where i would get a blank server select sreen. Did you try deleting your cookies and all that shit sometimes that can fix it.

![]() It's the eqhost file. You have to change the port? as per the FAQ, getting started.

![]() Look in your eq directory (where you installed eq), usually something like C:/program files x86/sony or blah blah, or just do search for eqhost. I think it is eqhost.txt, anywhere once you find it open it up and make sure it reads as such
[LoginServer] Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998 I'm betting your port number isn't 5998. This is the first thing to check if getting no servers, provided it isn't the company nerfing your bandwidth as has happened to me too. So try this too and let me know.

![]() This may not work for all of you, but anyone with this issue of a blank server select screen(while in game) - if you're using a Netgear router, there's a default setting that could be causing your issue.
It's called "Port scan and DDOS protection" <--- changed name over the years. It's most likely to found under the "WAN" section in your router's browser page. You need to uncheck this feature, then relogin to EQ. Yes it's ok to turn it off, you won't get 'hax0r3d' That's it, servers should now show.
