Quest Issue: Paw of Opolla combine

I have all the rings and the severed paw to complete the Paw of Opolla Quest, but when I attempt to combine the items, I receive the message, "You cannot combine these items in this container type!". The severed paw was obtained by killing Vin Moltor and looting it from his corpse.

The standard question would be, do you have the correct rings?


All rings should have +1 to some stat and -1 to Charisma. Do they? Or are you using an incorrect Copper or Silver or Gold ring.

I just did the combine last week with no issues. I had the plat and gold rings drop off Gynok, snagged the silver ring from the bottom of Blackburrow, and did the quest for the copper ring. I made Vin a pie for the container.
