![]() Wipe server, implement teams, preferably 2 and not 3, no rules except things that can be hard coded. FFA doesn't sustain enough population. It doesn't matter if that's your preference, it's already been proven. Use real resists, not Null resists. The end.

![]() Didn't say resists were the only problem, but teams don't offer a solution and this has been refuted in other threads by searyx and others.
Agree on kunark. Another box would have no hope of surviving classic more than 2 months.

![]() Hard-coded teams definitely needed but I am still a firm believer in 3 teams. I always thought Kunark should be released early. Kunark adds a ton of content for all levels, not just raiding like the classic planes added. Sadly it won't happen but one of these days I expect a SZ box to pop up. Until then forumquest.

![]() I would rather have teams as well. I just posted that it wasn't going to be the end-all solution, which some people were touting it as.
But I would prefer teams to FFA. There were three red teams servers on live and all of them were more popular than the only FFA one. Always thought it was stupid that even VZTZ copied that ruleset, and then this server did the same thing. RZ was the lowest populated pvp server! FFA lends to the problem of one huge guild ruling the top of the server. Teams wouldn't solve that but it would cut down on the problem. On TZ the dynamic of teams controlling certain zones 95%+ of the time was really cool -- darkies would actually rally to defend zones like Lower Guk or Sebilis, and lighties wouldn't have access to certain content/loot. I don't know if the population will ever exist here for that though.

![]() RZ was the lowest because everyones precious pixels were in constant jeopardy, not because of any team imo.
At least early on, there wasn't a whole lot of griefing, and the protection that teams provided you was already present with the strong system of order that naturally existed on rallos zek.
