Video Crashing

Anyone else ever run into a problem where their Video would crash and freeze but the game is still running?

I can get out of it most of the time by pressing alt+enter to go to full screen mode and then alt+enter again to go back to windowed mode. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit with an nvidia card evga 285 running the latest drivers.

It's not a huge problem but it is annoying and sometimes it does not recover when I toggle from windows to full screen and back to windowed.

i had the same set up but when im crashed, it would literaly shut down my computer..ended up gettin rid of the 285
