But wait, he was also in said guild on red. He must be "corrupt" now, just like the rest of us.

The rules he uses to condemn other players do not apply to him. He's just that special.

Even better, Billy told me that he made a petition/exploit forum post about what was going on with Naggy and it was erased. Have screenshot.

(Inb4 he didn't tell me all kinds of other shit that didn't turn out to be true either)

Cool, this thread is about me now.

There was no post made about it in the Bugs forums, but maybe there was one made in Petitions/Exploits. I'm not a GM so I wouldn't know. I found Nihilum to be very evasive about it when it was brought up in the "Nagafen on red" thread (here: http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...d.php?t=58052&), but maybe they just didn't want Holo to know about the exploit. Did they abuse the exploit with Naggy? Probably. Did they report it? I doubt it, but I have no proof either way. They frequently claim that they did, and so far no GM has stepped in and said they didn't, so it's possible.

The thing I found weird was in that very same thread, nilbog posted this:

I tested aes vs. pets and charmed pets trying to create an exploit. I didn't succeed in finding anything wrong with the AEs.

Also, with the latest patch, npcs should act more appropriately when being hit through a wall, so I'm not sure it was wall blocking either.

Any other ideas?
Which would suggest that no exploit with Naggy was ever reported. Also, Rogean was in IRC speculating on ways it could have been beaten legitimately or how it could have been exploited, making it seem like he wasn't aware that there was any problem reported with the encounter (despite many people thinking he just gave nihilum carte blanche to exploit, to his credit, he was trying to investigate it).

Funny, Billy told me the same thing. What ever happened to Billy?

edit: none of this should be taken as an attack against Nihilum, since to their credit I never saw them exploit a raid mob on the raids I attended, and I'd still like to think I'm friends with (most of) the guild.

As someone who wasn't around for the situation with the holocaust banning it does seem a bit double standardished but its hard to get an accurate portrayal of what occurred cause everyone is super biased.
