Angry Please help, installation issue!

Hello all, through the power of Youtube, i have found project 1999. i downloaded CD's titanium, ran the Duxa's full installer, got the patcher to run, shows servers, but when i click play it says, Must first select your Exe. and shortcut path, and ive tried the EQemu forums one. and it doesn't work. its the only thing preventing me from enjoying this classic nostalgia. please help me figure out why it wont allow a change?

Even in a separate shortcut, i cannot change the Exe to a patchme file it says its not valid. Sigh. broken EQ dreams. i really didnt wanna go back to live servers. but this is depressing. nobody else seems to have the problem cept me. and i cant find any knowledge on the subject. any advice?

Duxa's installer isn't the only thing you ran right? That doesn't install P99's custom files, just some client customizations. You still need to download the required files first from the Getting Started thread. The patcher will also do it once you get it working. That's not what would cause your problem, I'm just checking to make sure.

As for your actual issue. Move the Everquest directory out of your Program Files folder and into a folder with a single name (no spaces) directly in your C:\ drive. Change the shortcut to that new folder and try again. Something like "C:\EQTitanium\eqgame.exe patchme"
