Default Gettin' back to it

Well, it happened. I broke down and am in the process of dl'ing titanium edition.

I have a few questions before I crack out on nostalgia, hopefully they are easy to answer~

I am a long time raiding EQ player (from release to DoN) and I would love to grind out a class that is currently underrepresented on the 1999 server.
What classes are really needed in raiding guilds atm? I am assuming all the normal solo classes are played frequently? Druid, Ele, Necro, Bard, Ranger all overpopulated?

Is the population of people leveling non-solo classes large enough to the point where I could actually find groups and efficiently level?

Also, how are the schedules of raiding guilds? Do they make the 1999 server their priority over other mmo/game schedules or are they more like a laid-back, "what's up when we're on" type of thing?

Is there a rivalry between multiple raid guilds? Are there even multiple ones that are "top tier"?

finally... AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!! I wanna play a damn bst!

The raid scene here is pretty messed up from what I can tell. Unless you are in the top guild (TMO) it does't seem like there is a chance of getting a good spawn. They take it very seriously and its sorta become a flame-fest between TMO and other guilds, which is pretty annoying to see.

So I'd say, if you really want to raid, just get to 60 and join TMO. They will get you the gear/content/pixels that you desire.

Oh and there are a TON of druids, monks, magicians. Especially druids and monks.
