Well I am still somewhat active on red99, and I can tell you the pvp is not great. There are only a few active's that are not in Nihilum, and we spend our time running aruond looking for said Nihilum. when we find them the same thing happens that has happened from the start; gate, camp, or zone dance untill we are out numbered.

We really differ in opinion on what makes good pvp. It's the availability of that option that is appealing to me. If I want to camp frenzy I don't ooc cc and then say shucks it's camped. I could go down there and fight for the camp. I don't care to hunt people to fight and fight for the sake of fighting. I like the idea of fighting for content. Nihilu Killed all the dragons? Well there is no variance, you know when and where to be to fight for it. Hell you can organize the rest of the server to show up via the forums if you choose. If I just want to do nothing but fight players I would prolly not play eq.

you apparently never played classic pvp. Yeah we know where and when you will be in hate/fear but when you have recruited the entire server there is nothing that can be done 20+ vs 4.

red99 is horrible, has 1 guild with a raid force that has been farming un contested mobs for months, claiming victory on a server of 30.

So anyone you see saying good things about that server, are just
people in that one guild, that dont want their easily gotten goods to go to waste.

They have never been good at anything, and dont want to miss this chance.

They need YOU, to feel good about themselves. Otherwise no one cares about their pixels.

If the server consists of 1 guild + 10-15 random people, no one cares about their 15 cloak of flames. Oh so sad.......
